Challenging the Status Quo
Grizzly Claw Consulting Ltd. was born out of a desire to do things differently—and better. After years of working within massive EPCM corporations, our founder realized that heavy bureaucracy and bloated processes were slowing projects down. While big firms began outsourcing work overseas to cut costs, we saw a different opportunity: leverage emerging technology to build a leaner, faster, and more agile engineering alternative right here at home.
Remote Pioneers (Way Before It Was Trend)
Long before global events forced the world to adapt to remote work, Grizzly Claw was already operating as a fully remote, tech-forward consultancy. For over a decade, we have used cloud-based collaboration tools to streamline our workflows. This structure means we don't have the heavy overhead of traditional firms, allowing us to pass those efficiencies directly on to our clients through faster response times and competitive project delivery.

We believe that great work happens when people love what they do and have the freedom to live their lives. Our remote-first philosophy was inspired by family. As a father to a young family, our founder wanted to build a business where work fits seamlessly around life, not the other way around.

PRESIDENT
Lande Edmiston, P.Tech.(Eng)
From working in large EPC companies to consulting for both large and small Engineering Firms, Lande has lead large Engineering Design Teams as well as clients both small and large for nearly 20 years. He has worked with clients like Imperial Oil, Syncrude, Suncor, Pembina, Encana, PETRONAS, Repsol, Shell, Tourmaline among others. He has the hands-on experience with how new regulations can affect the Oil & Gas Industry.
Passions & Extracurriculars
Outside of work Lande enjoys skiing, snowboarding, photography, hiking and pretty much anything outdoors. He coaches Little League Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball including travel teams in the summer and helps out as an evaluator and coach for youth hockey. Travel is a huge part of his life with kids along with sports and music.
